PACKAGING
3. WHAT'S NEXT?
rolled the mixture out so that it would become flatter
added coffee grounds, became drier and easier to break
Mango + old newspaper + water
cotton mixed with bioplastic
paper folded in small tray
Biodegradable paper made from food and paper waste that can be used for tableware and food packaging
further experimenting with making and using natural colour (from beetroot, avocado and onion peels) to create more attractive packaging, illustrate/print on them. Also to spread information and awareness about the impact of the food industry/food waste on the climate crisis and how to consume more sustainable
put seeds (plus extra nutrients) in the paper so that after use it can be planted and used to grow fruits/vegetables/spices
The first experiment I did was with making bioplastic, which is fairly easy. However, for the recipe I used no food waste was needed as a key ingredient. I also think that creating a bioplastic is chemically more challenging as well
stir in a pan while heating is. After it becomes clear and think spread out on a plate and let it dry
